Who Uses Water?
Water is being used on Earth everyday. But who uses water the most? Humans! The human population on Earth is increasing everyday, meaning a greater amount of water is getting used, but we need to keep in mind to replace the water we are using because it is so important. For Example,The Aral Sea was one of the largest, fresh water supplies in Central Asia at one point in time. More water from the sea was being drained by a Russian Cotton project than being replaced by its feeding rivers. This action caused a lack of water, preventing the strong commercial fishery. Also, creating a dock that stands kilometers away from a shoreline that use to be right underneathe. Sometimes we might not even know we are using water because we arn't directly using it. This is called using water indirectly. For example, industry and agriculture, but don't worry, we will learn more about those in the next few sections!
